I'm a Special Education Assistant. I work in the school system with children with special needs. I've been doing it for about five years now. It's a fun and interesting occupation.

In November, 1998 I got on the internet. I spent the first several months having fun on it. I looked around checking out different web sites. I joined several game rooms and played cards and other games.

Then, in April, 1999, during a discussion with my Mom, Doris Hermon, I decided to start my own web site.

Over the years I have collected a large number of cookbooks. Because of this large cookbook collection, I decided to focus my site in this area. I started out knowing nothing about what it takes to create a web site. My Mom, who has her own site, has worked closely with me. We make a great team! I have learned an amazing amount but find I've only scratched the surface. My goal is to one day become a Webmaster.

I too have been in education having taught primary grades and special needs children for many years.

In 1985 I launched a mail order business and in 1989 wrote the first of a series of books about mail order entrepreneurs titled "It's in the Mail". The 5th and last edition of "It's in the Mail" was published in 1996.

It was in 1996 that I moved my business to the internet and, at first, things moved very slowly.

Since then I have acquired my own domain and have set up a web store with the help of my son, Dave, who is also my webmaster.

In 1998 I retired from teaching and now work my business full time. Our D-Pendable Books & Products" Web Site has become a very busy place with many visitors coming to our site.
