1 1/2 pounds Maple Leaf Prime Naturally boneless, skinless chicken drumsticks
1 bottle A1 Original steak sauce
1/4 cup liquid honey
2 tablespoons grated gingerroot
2 tablespoons soy sauce
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon chopped fresh coriander
1 teaspoon toasted sesame seeds (optional)
Preparation Instructions:
1. Roll chicken drumsticks into cylinders and skewer with toothpicks. Stir A1 steak sauce with honey, gingerroot, soy sauce, sesame oil and garlic. Divide sauce mixture in half. Bring half the sauce to a boil and reserve.
2. Preheat grill to medium. Toss chicken with remaining, uncooked sauce. Arrange on greased grill, close lid and grill for 10 minutes, turning and basting often with marinade, until juices run clear. Replace scorched toothpicks with new ones.
3. Sprinkle chicken with coriander and sesame seeds, if using, and serve with cooked sauce on the side. Makes 4 servings.
