3 to 4 tablespoons milk
1/2 teaspoon maple extract

Preparation Instructions:
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. For Cookies, in large mixer bowl, combine flour, granulated sugar, butter, applesauce, egg, pumpkin pie spice, baking soda and salt,. Beat at low speed, scraping bowl often, until well mixed, 2 to 3 minutes. Stir in raisins and nuts. Drop rounded teaspoonfuls of dough 2 inches apart onto greased cookie sheets. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes, or until lightly browned. Remove immediately; cool completely on wire racks.
For frosting, in small mixer bowl, combine powdered sugar, butter, milk and maple extract. Beat at medium speed, scraping bowl often, until light and fluffy, 3 to 4 minutes. Spread over cooled cookies. Place 2 raisins in center of each cookie. Makes about 3 dozen cookies.
