2 pounds ground beef
1 1/2 teaspoons crushed black peppercorns
1/2 teaspoon ground red pepper
2 onions, sliced thin
Colby Jack cheese, sliced
Sweet hickory BBQ sauce
Kaiser rolls
Preparation Instructions:
Mix beef, peppercorns, and red pepper. Form into 6-8 thick patties. Cook until medium rare on the grill. Melt Colby Jack slices when almost through cooking. Saute sliced onions with a small amount of butter in a pan on the stove, high heat, until browned. Top burgers generously with onions and BBQ sauce. Serve on Kaiser rolls.
