1/2 cup prepared barbecue sauce
2 tablespoons chili powder
2 teaspoons dried oregano
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 pounds boneless skinless chicken breasts or thighs
Preparation Instructions:
In bowl, mix barbecue sauce, chili powder, oregano and salt; add chicken and turn to coat. Place on foil-lined rimmed baking sheet; spread with any remaining sauce.
Bake in 425 degree oven for about 25 minutes for breasts, or 35 minutes for thighs, or until juices run clear when chicken is pierced. Let half cool; wrap and refrigerate for up to 1 day. Makes 4 servings with leftovers.
