Black Forest Parfait

2 cups cold milk
4 serving size package chocolate instant pudding
250 gram package cream cheese, softened
19 ounce can cherry pie filling
1 tablespoon cherry liqueur
1/3 cup chocolate wafer crumbs

Preparation Instructions:

Pour cold milk into bowl. Add pudding mix. With electric mixer at low speed beat for 2 minutes. Let stand 5 minutes until thickened. Meanwhile, beat cream cheese at low speed of electric mixer until smooth. Gradually add pudding, beating until blended. Mix together cherry pie filling and liqueur. Reserve a few cherries for garnish, if desired. Divide half of the pudding mixture among 6 individual dessert dishes; sprinkle with wafer crumbs. Cover with pie filling; top with remaining pudding mixture. Chill until ready to serve. Garnish with reserved cherries and additional wafer crumbs, if desired. Makes 6 servings.
