3/4 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into strips
1 tablespoon oil
2 cloves garlic, minced
1/4 cup lemon juice
1 teaspoon Mexican chili powder
1/4 teaspoon ground thyme
1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
3/4 cup red onion, sliced
1 sweet red pepper, sliced
1/2 teaspoon Tabasco sauce (if desired)
Preparation Instructions:
In a skillet or wok, heat oil over high heat. Add garlic and chicken. Saute for about 4 to 5 minutes to brown chicken. Add lemon juice, seasonings, onion and red pepper. Cook for 2 to 3 minutes stirring constantly. Add Tabasco sauce and mix well. Serve over bed of rice.
