4 pound eye round roast
4 tablespoons flour
1 tablespoon steak seasoning
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
1/2 teaspoon garlic, chopped
1/2 teaspoon fresh sage leaves, chopped
1/2 teaspoon fresh oregano leaves, chopped
16 ounce can tomato sauce
1 cup beef stock
Preparation Instructions:
1. Dip meat in flour/steak seasoning mixture and brown all sides in vegetable oil.
2. Combine remaining ingredients and pour over meat. Simmer in a covered roasting pan for 1 1/2 hours or until meat is cooked. Serves 8.
