Souvlaki Burgers

1/2 pound each ground beef, ground pork
1/4 cup each sour cream, dry bread crumbs
1 egg
1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
1 teaspoon seasoned salt
1/2 teaspoon seasoned pepper
2 cloves garlic, minced
Leaf lettuce
1 large tomato, sliced
1/4 cup feta cheese, crumbled
6 hamburger buns

Preparation Instructions:

Combine beef, pork, sour cream, bread crumbs, egg, mustard, salt, pepper and garlic. Form mixture into 6 patties. Broil or grill burgers until done. Serve on hamburger buns and garnish with lettuce, tomato and feta cheese.

Variations:

Turkey Burger - Substitute ground chicken or turkey for beef and pork.

TexMex Burger - Omit sour cream and top burger with Monterey Jack cheese, chopped black olives and garnish with salsa and chopped fresh cilantro. Wrap in a fresh (soft tortilla) if desired.
