1/2 pound lean ground beef
1/2 pound ground pork
1/2 cup minced green onions
1 tablespoon cornstarch
2 tablespoons soy sauce
1 ounce package Hidden Valley Ranch Milk Recipe Original Ranch Salad Dressing Mix
6 dozen wonton skins
2 egg whites, beaten
Vegetable oil, for deep frying
2 cups prepared Hidden Valley Ranch Original Ranch Salad Dressing
Preparation Instructions:
In large bowl, combine beef, pork, onions, cornstarch, soy sauce and dry salad dressing mix; stir well. Place a small mound of mixture in center of each wonton skin. With your fingers, rub a bit of egg white on two top edges of wonton skin. Press skin together in half to form triangle, making sure skin is sealed on all sides. Place two long points of triangle on top of each other and seal with egg white.
In deep fryer or deep saucepan, heat 1/2 inch oil to 375 degrees. Fry wontons, a few at a time, until golden. Remove with slotted spoon and drain on paper towels. Serve warm with prepared salad dressing for dipping. Makes 6 dozen wontons.
