Pea Cottage Cheese Soup

1 medium potato, chopped (1 cup)
2 stalks celery chopped (1 cup)
1 medium onion, chopped (1/2 cup)
1/2 cup chicken broth
1/2 teaspoon dried basil, crushed
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon pepper
2 cups cream style cottage cheese
8 ounce can peas, drained
1 cup milk

Preparation Instructions:

In 2 quart saucepan combine potato, celery, onion, chicken broth, basil, salt and pepper. Bring to boiling. Reduce heat; cover and simmer for 15 minutes or till vegetables are tender.

Meanwhile, in a blender container combine cottage cheese, peas, and milk; cover and blend till smooth. Stir into vegetables in saucepan; heat through. Makes 6 servings.
