Papaya Raspberry Crisp

2 papayas (1 1/2 lbs total), peeled and cut into 1 in chunks
1 teaspoon grated lemon zest
2 tablespoons lemon juice
1/4 teaspoon each salt and pepper
1/8 teaspoon ground allspice
3/4 cup raspberries
2 tablespoons granulated sugar
2 tablespoons packed light brown sugar
1 tablespoon unsalted butter
3 tablespoons flour

Preparation Instructions:

Preheat the oven to 450 degrees. In an 8 inch round ceramic or glass baking dish, toss together the papayas, lemon zest, lemon juice, salt, pepper, and allspice. Scatter the raspberries on top.

In a small bowl, combine the granulated sugar, brown sugar, and butter with your fingers. Mix in the flour until the mixture is crumbly. Sprinkle the crumb mixture over the fruit. Bake for 12 to 15 minutes or until the top is lightly browned and set and the fruit is heated through. Serves 4.
