Philly 3 Step Apple Bavarian Cheesecake

2 packages (250 g each) softened regular or light cream cheese
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
2 eggs
1 ready to use or homemade graham cracker crust
1 large sliced apple
3 tablespoons sugar
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
Sliced almonds

Preparation Instructions:

Mix cream cheese, 1/2 cup sugar, and vanilla with mixer until smooth. Add eggs, one at a time, and mix until just blended.

Pour into the crust. Top cheesecake with apple slices and sprinkle with 3 tablespoons sugar and the cinnamon. Sprinkle with sliced almonds.

Bake for 40 minutes or until center is almost set. Cool. Refrigerate 3 hours or overnight. Makes 8 servings.
