Warm Chunky Crab Spread

AmountIngredient
250 gram (8 ounce) packagelight cream cheese, softened
1/4 cupHellmann's Big Squeeze light mayonnaise
1 clovegarlic, minced
1/4 teaspoonpepper
1/2 cupL'Ambiance white wine
2green onions, chopped
1/4 cupTre Stelle grated Parmesan cheese, divided
227 gram packageClover Leaf Crab Delights, flake style, chopped, divided
2 tablespoonschopped fresh parsley

Preparation Instructions:

Beat cream cheese, mayonnaise, garlic and pepper until smooth. Gradually beat in wine. Stir in green onions, 2 tablespoons Parmesan cheese and half the crab.

Spread evenly in 8 inch pie plate; sprinkle with remaining crab and Parmesan. Bake at 375 degrees about 20 minutes or until bubbling. Cool slightly; sprinkle with parsley. Serve with crackers. Make about 3 cups.

Hint: For convenience, prepare this spread up to 24 hours ahead; cover and refrigerate. Bake, uncovered, at serving time. Also great baked and served chilled. Instead of wine, substitute 1/2 cup chicken broth.

Per tablespoon: 23 calories; 1.2 grams protein; 7.4 grams fat; 1.2 grams carbohydrate.
