3 large clovesgarlic
1 cupchopped cilantro leaves
1 bunch (8 to 10)scallions, white parts
1sweet bell pepper (yellow, orange or red)
1chopped jalapeno pepper, seeds removed
4large ripe tomatoes, seeded and chopped
1 tablespoonfresh minced oregano leaves
1/2 teaspoonsalt

Preparation Instructions:

Pulse all ingredients in a food processor until coarsely chopped, or at most reduced to a large-size mince. Salsa can also be prepared by hand, chopping the ingredients in a large bowl. The sauce should be lumpy, with all ingredients recognizable.
