"Low Fat Apple Oatmeal Cake"

Serving Size: Makes 8" cake

AmountIngredient
2 2/3 cupsRobin Hood Low Fat Oatmeal Muffin Mix
1 1/2 cupspeeled and finely chopped apple
3/4 cupwater
2 tablespoonsgranulated sugar
1/4 teaspooncinnamon
3 tablespoonssliced almonds

Preparation Instructions:

Combine muffin mix, apple and water. Mix well. Spread in lightly greased 8 inch square cake pan.

Combine remaining ingredients. Sprinkle evenly over batter.

Bake at 375 degrees for 30 to 35 minutes, or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool in pan on wire rack.

Makes 1 (8 inch) cake.
