Serving Size: 1 large loaf, 16 slices

AmountIngredient
1 packageactive dry yeast
1 cupwarm milk (105 to 115 degrees)
1/4 cuphoney
2 tablespoonsoil
2eggs, beaten
1/2 teaspoonsalt
4 to 4 1/2 cupsall purpose flour
1 tablespoonsesame seeds
Egg Wash: 
1egg
1 teaspoonwater

Preparation Instructions:

1. In large bowl, dissolve yeast in warm milk. Stir in honey, oil, eggs, salt and 3 3/4 cups flour.

2. Turn out onto floured board. Knead dough about 5 minutes, incorporating additional flour, until dough is smooth and elastic.

3. Coat large bowl with oil. Place dough in bowl, turning to coat all sides. Cover.

4. Let rise in a warm, draft-free place until almost doubled.

5. Punch dough down. Pinch off a baseball size piece. Place larger piece in a round 2 1/2 quart oven-proof bowl or baking dish.

6. Make indentation in top of dough. Brush egg wash over indentation. Place small piece of dough inside.

7. Brush the whole dough with egg wash. Sprinkle with sesame seeds.

8. Let rise until almost doubled.

9. Bake at 325 degrees for 30 minutes or until golden brown.

10. Cool completely in pan.

Egg Wash: Lightly beat together 1 egg and water.

Per Serving: 131 calories; 4.0 g protein; 3.0 g fat; 21.9 g carbohydrates; 75 mg sodium.
