Serving Size: Makes 12 brownie cups

AmountIngredient
2 1/2 squares (2 1/2 ounces)unsweetened chocolate
1/2 cupbutter or margarine
1 scant cupsugar
2eggs, beaten
1/2 teaspoonvanilla
1/2 teaspoonmint extract
1/2 cup plus 2 tablespoonsall purpose flour
1/2 teaspoonbaking powder
 Powdered sugar, for garnish
 Strawberries, for garnish

Preparation Instructions:

1. Melt chocolate and butter in medium saucepan. Stir in sugar.

2. Add eggs and vanilla and mint extract.

3. Combine flour and baking powder. Add to butter mixture.

4. Line a muffin pan with 12 cupcake liners. Fill each with 2 tablespoons batter.

5. Bake at 350 degrees for 13 to 15 minutes until a toothpick barely comes out clean.

6. Remove to cool on rack. Dust with powdered sugar when cool.

7. The cups will sink slightly in the middle.

8. Garnish with sliced strawberries, if available.

Tips: Peppermint extract may be substituted for mint.
