Breakfast Sausage Patties

AmountIngredient
1 1/2 poundsground pork
1/3 cupgreen onion, finely chopped
2 teaspoonsfennel seeds
1/2 teaspoonpaprika
2 tablespoonsfresh rosemary, finely chopped
1 tablespoonfresh oregano leaves, finely chopped
2 clovesgarlic, minced
1 tablespoonminced parsley
1 to 1 1/2 teaspoonssalt
1/2 teaspoonpepper
1/2 teaspooncrushed red pepper
1 tablespoonoil

Preparation Tips:

1. Mix together pork, green oniion, fennel seeds, paprika, rosemary, oregano, garlic parsley, salt, pepper, and curshed red pepper. Blend well.
2. Refrigerate overnight.
3. Remove mixture from refrigerator. Form into 3 inch patties.
4. Saute patties in hot oil until very brown and crisp on both sides, about 10 minutes.
5. Serve immediately with pancakes and maple syrup.
