"Cranberry Pecan Bread"

Serving Size: Makes 1 1/2 pound loaf or 12 slices

AmountIngredient
1 cupwarm water
1 1/2 tablespoonsvegetable oil
1 teaspoonlemon juice
2 1/2 tablespoonsbrown sugar
1 1/2 tablespoonsdry milk powder
1 teaspoonsalt
3 cupsunbleached bread flour
1/3 cupdried cranberries
1/3 cupchopped pecans
2 1/4 teaspoonsbread machine yeast

Preparation Instructions:

Measure all ingredients into bread machine pan in the order suggested by manufacturer. Program for Basic/White or Sweet bread cycle, light crust colour.

For machines with Fruit/Nut signal, add the cranberries and pecans at the signal or add them near the end of the kneading stage.

Check dough after 5 minutes of mixing; it should form a soft smooth ball around the blade. If dough is too dry, add liquid 1 teaspoon at a time until th right consistency is reached. If dough is too sticky, add flour 1 teaspoon at a time until right consistency.

Remove baked bread from pan and cool on wire rack. Makes 1 1/2 pound loaf or 12 slices.

Per slice: 185 calories; 4.9 g protein; 31.1 g carbohydrate; 4.58 g fat.
