Serving Size: Makes 4 servings

AmountIngredient
1 1/2 poundsswordfish steaks, 1 inch thick
Marinade: 
4 tablespoonssoy sauce
2 tablespoonsoil
4 tablespoonsfresh lemon juice
2 tablespoonsketchup
1 teaspoonminced garlic
1/4 teaspoonpepper
1/4 cupchopped green onions, optional

Preparation Instructions:

1. Place swordfish in a glass dish.

2. Combine the soy sauce, oil, lemon juice, ketchup, garlic and pepper. Pour over the fish. Let stand 30 minutes.

3. Remove fish to a broiler pan. Reserve marinade for basting.

4. Place broiling rack so swordfish is about 5 inches from heating element. Baste with marinade.

5. Broil 4 to 5 minutes on each side. When fish flakes, it is ready.

6. Serve sprinkled with green onions, if desired.

Per serving: 247 calories; 34.2 g protein; 10.3 g fat; 2.5 g carbohydrate; 612 mg sodium.
