AmountIngredient
1 batchSugar Cookie (2) dough
Egg Paint: 
1egg yolk
1 teaspoonwater
2 or 3 drops eachseveral food colours

Preparation Instructions:

Prepare Sugar Cookie dough. Chill 1 to 2 hours, or until firm. Roll dough into 1 inch balls. Place balls 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet. Flatten balls of dough firmly with a cookie stamp dipped in flour. Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Decorate cookies using Egg Paint. Bake cookies 4 to 6 minutes, or until edges are light golden brown.

Egg Paint: Beat together egg yolk and water in a small bowl. Divide mixture among 3 or 4 small. Add a different food colour to each bowl; mix well. Paint on unbaked cookies with a small, clean paint brush. If the coloured mixture thickens while standing, stir in water a drop at a time.
