Chocolate Walnut Tarts

Serving Size: Makes 24 tarts

AmountIngredient
1 cupgolden corn syrup
3/4 cuplightly packed brown sugar
2/3 cupBreak Free liquid eggs, well shaken
2 tablespoonsmelted butter (or soft margarine)
3/4 cupsemi sweet chocolate chips
3/4 cupchopped walnuts, toasted
24frozen 3 inch tart shells, thawed

Preparation Instructions:

Combine corn syrup, brown sugar, liquid eggs, and melted butter; stir until blended.

Arrange tart shells on baking sheets. Spoon 1/2 tablespoon each of chocolate chips and walnuts into tart shells. Pour in filling.

Bake at 375 degrees 20 to 25 minutes or just until set and golden brown. Makes 24 tarts.

Per serving: 234 calories; 2.8 g protein; 11.9 g fat; 30.6 g carbohydrates; 0.9 g dietary fibre.
