Baker's One Bowl Chocolate Pecan Pie

Serving Size: Makes 6 servings

AmountIngredient
1 cupcorn syrup
1/2 cupsugar
4 squaressemi sweet chocolate, chopped
3 tablespoonsbutter
1 teaspooninstant coffee
1 teaspoonvanilla
3eggs
1 cupcoarsely chopped pecans
1unbaked 9 inch pastry shell
 Icing sugar (optional)
 Cool Whip whipped topping (optional)

Preparation Instructions:

Microwave corn syrup and sugar in a microwaveable bowl on High for 3 minutes. Stir until sugar is completely melted. Return to microwave oven on medium powder for 2 minutes.

Stir in chocolate, butter, coffee, vanilla; mix well.

Blend in eggs and pecans. Pour into pie shell. Bake at 375 degrees for 45 minutes.

To garnish, dust with icing sugar and top with whipped topping. Makes 6 servings.
