Easy Chicken Parmesan

AmountIngredient
1 tablespoonvegetable oil
4boneless, skinless chicken breast halves
4 teaspoonscornstarch
19 ounce can or 2 (14 ounce) cansDel Monte Italian Spice Stewed Tomatoes
1/2 teaspoondried oregano
1/2 teaspoondried basil
1/4 teaspoonhot pepper sauce
1/4 cupgrated Parmesan cheese

Preparation Tips:

Heat oil in skillet over medium-high heat; brown chicken on both sides. Dissolve cornstarch in tomatoes; add to pan with oregano, basil and hot pepper sauce. Simmer over low heat, stirring occasionally, until chicken is tender, 10 to 15 minutes, or until chicken is no longer pink inside. Sprinkle with cheese. Brown lightly under broiler 2 to 3 minutes, protecting handle with foil necessary. Serve over cooked pasta, if desired. Makes 4 servings.
