Au Gratin Chicken Bake

AmountIngredient
141 g packageau gratin potatoes
1 1/2 cupsboiling water
2 tablespoonsbutter or margarine
2/3 cupmilk
5boneless skinless chicken breasts (approx. 550 g)
3/4 cupshredded cheddar cheese
3 tablespoonsdry breadcrumbs, if desired
2 teaspoonsparsley flakes, if desired

Preparation Instructions:

Heat oven to 400 degrees. Spray 1 1/2 quart casserole dish with cooking spray. Stir potatoes, sauce mix, boiling water and butter in casserole dish until butter is melted. Stir in milk.

Place chicken on top of potato mixture.

Bake 25 minutes. Sprinkle cheese on top of chicken. Bake 10 to 15 minutes longer or until cheese is melted and juice of chicken is no longer pink when centers of thickest pieces are cut. Sprinkle with bread crumbs and parsley flakes. Let stand 5 minutes or until sauce is as thick as you like. 5 servings.
