Tomato Herb Cream Sauce with Pasta

AmountIngredient
1 tablespoonvegetable oil
1 clovegarlic, minced
1medium onion chopped
28 ounce canAylmer Tomatoes with Herbs and Spices
1 1/2 teaspoonsdried thyme
1 teaspoongranulated sugar
1/2 teaspoonsalt
3 cupspasta
1/2 cuphalf and half cream

Preparation Tips:

Heat oil in large skillet, saute garlic and onion for 3 minutes. Add tomatoes, breaking up with a fork, thyme, sugar, and salt; bring to a boil. Simmer, stirring occasionally, for 20 to 25 minutes to thicken. Meanwhile cook pasta as directed on package; drain. Stir cream into tomato mixture; heat through. Spoon over pasta. Makes 4 servings.
