Serving Size: Makes 6 servings

AmountIngredient
6 ounce jarmarinated artichoke hearts (about 12)
1/2 loafnarrow baguette (French bread) cut into 1/4 inch slices
3/4 cupParmesan cheese, freshly grated
1/3 cupmayonnaise

Preparation Instructions:

1. Drain artichoke hearts.

2. Place one artichoke on each slice of bread.

3. Stir together cheese and mayonnaise.

4. Spread about 1 tablespoon cheese mixture on top of each artichoke heart.

5. Place appetizers on baking sheet.

6. Broil for 2 to 3 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and light golden brown.

7. Serve immediately

Per serving: 237 calories; 6.4 g protein; 17.8 g fat; 13.1 g carbohydrates; 381 mg sodium.
