Serving Size: Makes 8 servings

4 poundeye round roast
4 tablespoonsflour
1 tablespoonsteak seasoning
2 tablespoonsvegetable oil
1/2 teaspoongarlic, chopped
1/2 teaspoonfresh sage leaves, chopped
1/2 teaspoonfresh oregano leaves, chopped
16 ounce cantomato sauce
1 cupbeef stock

Preparation Instructions:

1. Dip meat in flour/steak seasoning mixture and brown all sides in vegetable oil.

2. Combine remaining ingredients and pour over meat. Simmer in a covered roasting pan for 1 1/2 hours or until meat is cooked. Serves 8.

Per serving: 237 calories; 4 g carbohydrates; 37 g protein; 95 mg cholesterol; 291 mg sodium; 7 g fat.
