"Chocolate Sodas"

Recipe Source: Seasonal Favorites - Summer (Card 17) The Betty Crocker Recipe Card Library Beverages Recipe File Serving Size: Makes 1 serving

Amount Ingredient 2 to 3 tablespoons chocolate syrup 1 glass chilled club soda, ginger ale, or carbonated lemon lime beverage 2 scoops vanilla ice cream 1 large marshmallow, for garnish 1 red maraschino cherry, for garnish

Preparation Instructions:

For each soda, place chocolate syrup in tall glass. Fill glass 1/2 full with chilled beverage. Ad ice cream, stirring after each addition. Fill glass with beverage. Serve soda with marshmallow and cherry on straw.

Chocolate Peppermint Sodas: Substitute peppermint ice cream for the vanilla ice cream.
