Serving Size: Makes 24 appetizers

6English muffins
2 cans (2.2 ounces each)sliced or chopped olives
1 1/2 cupsgrated cheddar cheese, about 6 ounces
1/2 cupthinly sliced green onions
1/2 cupmayonnaise
Salt, optional
Parsley sprigs, for garnish, optional

Preparation Instructions:

1. Cut English muffins in half. Set aside.

2. In large bowl, mix together olives, cheese, onions, mayonnaise and salt, if used.

3. Spread mixture evenly over 12 muffin halves. Place on baking sheet.

4. Broil 3 to 4 minutes or until cheese is bubbly and melted.

5. Cut in half before serving. Garnish with parsley sprigs, if desired.

Per serving: 113 calories; 3.4 g protein; 7.5 g fat; 8.4 g carbohydrates; 187 mg sodium.
