"Chocolate Rum Sticks"

Serving Size: Makes 1 3/4 pounds

AmountIngredient
2 1/2 cupssemisweet chocolate pieces
1 cupcanned sweetened condensed milk
Dashsalt
2 teaspoonsrum extract
1 1/2 cupschopped walnuts

Preparation Instructions:

1. In double boiler, over hot, not boiling, water, melt chocolate. Stir in condensed milk and salt; remove from heat; then beat it with electric mixer until it is smooth.

2. Stir in extract and walnuts; then pour into wax paper lined 7 x 3 x 2 inch loaf pan. Refrigerate 24 hours to mellow.

3. Next, cut into 1/2 inch slices; then halve each slice lengthwise. Store in airtight container. Makes 1 3/4 pounds.
