"Coconut Mallows"

Serving Size: Makes 2 1/2 dozen

AmountIngredient
6 ounce packagesemisweet chocolate pieces (1 cup)
1 tablespoonshortening (not butter or margarine)
2 1/2 dozenlarge marshmallows
Chopped nuts or toasted, white or tinted, snipped flaked coconut

Preparation Instructions:

Over hot, not boiling, water, melt chocolate pieces with shortening. Drop in marshmallows, one at a time, turning until well coated. Lift out; roll in nuts or coconut. Refrigerate on wax paper till well chilled. Makes about 2 1/2 dozen.
