Rice Pudding

AmountIngredient
1 1/2 ouncesround-grain rice
1 ouncecaster sugar
1 pintmilk
 ground nutmeg

Preparation Tips:

1. Wash the rice and put it in an ovenproof dish wth the sugar and milk.
2. Sprinkle with ground nutmeg and bake in a cool oven (300 degrees F.) for about 2 hours or until it is golden brown on top, stirring the pudding once after 30 minutes cooking.
Serves 4.
To freeze: Overwrap the whole dish when cold and reheat in a cool oven. Eat within 2 months.
