Serving Size: Makes 4 servings

AmountIngredient
1avocado
1 tablespoonlemon juice
1 clovegarlic, minced
1/2 teaspoonsalt
2 tablespoonschop-ped chives or green onion
1hard cooked egg, diced
2 ouncesgorgonzola, crumbled
4crusty French or kaiser rolls
4 - 8 slicesturkey breast
4 slicescrisp cooked bacon
Shredded iceberg lettuce
Watercress
8 thin slicestomato

Preparation Instructions:

1. Peel, seed and coarsely mash avocado.

2. Blend in lemon juice, garlic, mashed with salt, chives or green onion and egg.

3. Split rolls in half. Toast lightly.

4. Spread avocado mixture on both halves of rolls.

5. Sprinkle Gorgonzola on bottom half, pressing lightly.

6. Arrange turkey, bacon, lettuce, watercress and tomato over cheese. Secure with wood picks.

7. Cut in half, if desired.

Per serving: 410 calories; 21.7 g protein; 18.9 g fat; 37.5 g carbohydrates; 982 mg sodium.
