"Crunch Bars"

Serving Size: Makes 16 servings

AmountIngredient
35soda crackers
1/2 cupbutter
1/2 cupfirmly packed light brown sugar
8 squaressemi sweet chocolate, chopped
1 cupwalnuts, chopped

Preparation Instructions:

Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Place crackers in a single layer on foil lined 15 x 10 x 1 inch baking pan.

Heat butter and sugar in saucepan on medium high heat until butter is melted and mixture is well blended. Bring to boil; boil 3 minutes without stirring. Spread over crackers.

Bake 7 minutes. Immediately sprinkle with chopped chocolate; let stand 5 minutes. Spread melted chocolate over top. Sprinkle with walnuts. Cool. cut or break into pieces. Makes 16 servings.
