Chicken Casserole

Preparation Tips:In saucepan bring chicken broth and rice to boiling. Reduce heat; cook, covered, for 15 minutes. Remove from heat; let stand, covered, for 10 minutes. Meanwhile, cook broccoli according to package directions; drain well. In saucepan melt butter. Stir in flour,salt, and pepper. Add milk all at once; cook and stir till thickened and bubbly. Stir in chicken, cooked rice, drained broccoli, and mushrooms. Turn into a 2 quart casserole. Bake, covered, at 350 degrees till heated through, 30 to 35 minutes. Sprinkle with almonds. Makes 6 servings.
