Chicken Strips with Cheese Sauce

AmountIngredient
3boneless chicken breasts, cut into strips
1 tablespoonbutter or margarine
Cheese Sauce 
2 tablespoonsbutter or margarine
3 tablespoonsall-purpose flour
1 cupchicken broth
1 cuphalf-and-half
Dashsalt
Dashpepper
1 tablespoonWorcestershire sauce
1 cupgrated Swiss or cheddar cheese or a combination
1red pepper, sliced
1green pepper, sliced

Preparation Tips:

1. Cut chicken breasts into strips. Set aside.
2. Prepare cheese sauce: In a saucepan, melt butter. Add flour. Stir to combine.
3. Slowly add chicken broth. Stir and heat over medium heat. Bring to a boil and boil for a few minutes.
4. Add half-and-half. Bring to a boil. Add salt, pepper and Worcestershire sauce Add cheese. Set aside.
5. Saute chicken in butter until just brown. Reduce heat. Cook over medium heat for about 7 minutes until chicken is done.
6. Add pepper strips to chicken. Cook for a few minutes more.
7. Arrange chicken and pepper on a serving platter. Pour sauce over.
8. Serve immediately with steamed rice or noodles.
