Chocolate Sour Cream Refrigerator Cookies

Amount	Ingredient
1 cup	butter
1/2 cup	brown sugar, firmly packed
1 cup	sugar
1/2 cup	sour cream
2 1/2 ounces (2 1/2 squares)	semisweet chocolate, melted
3 cups	flour
1/4 teaspoon	baking soda
1 teaspoon	salt
1 teaspoon	baking powder
1 teaspoon	vanilla extract

Preparation Tips:

Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Cream butter and sugar thoroughly; stir in sour cream and melted chocolate. Mix and sift dry ingredients; add to chocolate mixture. Stir in vanilla. Chill. Shape into roll; wrap in waxed paper. Refrigerate overnight. Slice very thin. Place on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 8 minutes. Makes about 12 dozen.
