Lime Kabobs Polynesian

AmountIngredient
1/2 cupRealime lime juice from concentrate
1/2 cupvegetable oil
3 tablespoonssugar
1 tablespoonBennett's chili sauce
1/2 to 1 teaspooncurry powder
1/4 teaspoongarlic powder
1 1/2 poundssirloin steak (about 1 inch thick), cut into cubes
8 ounce canpineapple chunks, drained
1large green pepper, cut into squares
2medium onions, quartered
8 ounces (about 2 cups)fresh whole mushrooms
1/2 pintcherry tomatoes

Preparation Tips:

In small bowl, combine lime juice, oil, sugar, chili sauce and seasonings; pour over meat. Cover; refrigerate 6 hours or overnight, stirring occasionally. Skewer meat with pineapple and vegetables. Grill or broil as desired, turning and basting frequently with marinade. Serve with rice if desired. Refrigerate leftovers. Makes 6 servings.
