Pear Sauce

Preparation Tips:In a medium saucepan, bring pears and water to a boil. Lower the heat and simmer pears until tender, about 5 minutes. Drain and freeze cooking liquid for future use (syrups, nectars, etc.).
Puree the fruit in a food processor or blender until smooth. Freeze the sauce in pint containers. Yields 3 1/2 to 4 cups.
