Almond Tart

AmountIngredient
2 cupsflour
1 cupbutter, margarine or canola oil
1 cupsugar
1 teaspoonalmond extract
1egg yolk
1 teaspoonbaking powder
1egg white
 Almond slices
 Apricot Jam

Preparation Tips:

Combine flour, butter, sugar, almond extract, egg yolk and baking powder. Make a crumbly mix. Press on bottom of 8 inch pie pan. On the top of the crumb mixture, pour egg white. Sprinkle with almonds slices. Cook at 350 degrees for 35 - 40 minutes. After cooked, brush with apricot jam.
