A Perfect Cuppa (Tea)

AmountIngredient
 Fresh cold water
 Hot water
1 teaspoon per cup of waterloose tea (or 1 tea bag per 2 cups of water)

Preparation Tips:

Bring fresh cold water to full boil. Warm teapot by swirling hot water in it then discarding. Add loose tea (you can use a tea ball or strainer). For stronger tea add another 1 teaspoon "for the pot". Or add tea bag(s). Pour in boiling water. Cover with lid, then tea cosy to hold in heat. Steeping times vary depending on tea: 1 to 3 minutes for green tea; 3 to 5 minutes for black tea (any longer creates bitterness). Herbal teas, or tisanes, may take a few minutes longer. Remove bags to prevent further steeping, or strain into cups.
