Silky Chocolate Frosting

AmountIngredient
6 tablespoonssugar
6 tablespoonsflour
2 cupsmilk
1 cupbutter
1 teaspoonvanilla or almond extract
2 ounces (2 squares)unsweetened chocolate, melted

Preparation Tips:

Mix sugar and flour; add milk slowly. Stir until smooth. Cook over low heat until thick, stirring constantly. Add butter, vanilla or almond extract and chocolate. Stir well; cool. Frosts one 2 layer, 9 inch cake.
