Powdered Sugar Icing

Amount	Ingredient
1 cup	sifted powdered sugar
1/4 teaspoon	vanilla
	Milk

Preparation Instructions:

Stir together powdered sugar, vanilla and enough milk (about 1 1/2 tablespoons) to make of pouring consistency. Glaze or drizzle over top of tube cake, bar cookies, or cookies.
Variation:
Cream Cheese Icing: Beat together one 3 ounce package softened cream cheese and powdered sugar till fluffy. Beat in vanilla. If necessary, beat in enough milk (about 1 teaspoon) to make of pouring consistency. Cover; store in refrigerator.
