Cheese & Prosciutto Foccacia

AmountIngredient
1 loaf (1 pound / 454 g)frozen white bread dough, thawed according to package directions
3 tablespoons / 45 mlolive oil
3 clovesgarlic, minced
1/2 teaspoon / 2 mldried rosemary, crushed
2 cups / 500 mlSargento finely shredded cheese Italiano blend
3 ounces / 90gthinly sliced prosciutto or smoked ham, cut into thin strips
1/4 cup / 50 mljulienned basil leaves or 2 teaspoons / 10 ml dried basil

Preparation Tips:

1. On lightly floured surface, roll out dough into 14 x 8 inch (35 x 20 cm) oval. Transfer to greased baking sheet. Let stand in warm place 25 minutes to rise slightly.

2. Combine oil, garlic and rosemary. Press deep indentations in bread with two fingers. Brush with oil mixture evenly over dough.

3. Bake at 375 degrees / 190 C for 18 minutes or until golden brown. Remove from oven; sprinkle with cheese, prosciutto and basil. Bake 3 minutes more or until cheese is melted. Servings: 4 main dishes or 8 side dishes.
