Creamy Basil Mushrooms

AmountIngredient
1/4 cupmargarine or butter, melted
1 poundfresh mushrooms, sliced
2 tablespoonschopped green pepper
2 tablespoonschopped red bell pepper
1/2 cupwhipping cream
2 tablespoonsdry white wine
1/2 teaspoonsalt
1/4 teaspoonbasil leaves

Preparation Tips:

In large skillet, melt margarine.
Add mushrooms and peppers.
Saute over meduim heat 5 to 7 minutes or until vegetables are soft, stirring occasionally.
Remove mushrooms and peppers; keep warm.
Add cream, wine, salt and basil to skillet.
Simmer over low heat 5 to 7 minutes or until mixture thickens slightly, stirring frequently.
Add mushrooms and peppers; cook until thoroughly heated.
6 servings.
