Egg Noodles With Swedish Meatballs

AmountIngredient
1 poundground beef
1medium egg
1 cupfresh white bread crumbs
 Salt
1/4 teaspoonnutmeg
1/8 teaspoonpepper
1small onion, minced
1 tablespoonsalad oil
10 ounce cancondensed cream of celery soup
1/2 cupsour cream
1/4 cupmilk
4 cupsmedium egg noodles, 1/2 pound

Preparation Instructions:

Mix together beef, egg, bread crumbs, salt, nutmeg, pepper, and onion in a mixing bowl; shape into 16 meatballs. In large skillet, brown meatballs in oil on all sides. Drain off excess fat. Cover and cook about 5 minutes. Blend soup, sour cream and milk. Pour over meatballs. Cover and cook 5 to 10 minutes until heated through. Meanwhile, cook noodles in large amount of boiling, salted water according to package directions, stirring occasionally. Drain well and serve with meatballs. Makes 4 servings.
