Pork Chops with Garlic-Ginger Sauce

Preparation Instructions:Trim excess fat from chops. Heat oil in a 12 inch skillet. Add chops to hot oil. Cook over medium heat about 8 minutes or till brown on both sides, turning once.
Add chicken broth, green onion, minced garlic or garlic powder, and ginger to skillet. Bring to boiling. Reduce heat. Cover and simmer about 8 minutes or till chops are tender and no pink remains. Transfer chops to a serving platter. Keep warm.
Combine water and cornstarch. Stir into broth mixture in skillet. Cook and stir till thickened and bubbly. Cook and stir for 2 minutes more. Spoon sauce over pork chops. Makes 4 servings.
