Peach-Glazed Pork Roast

AmountIngredient
5 poundpork shoulder blade Boston roast
12 ounce jarpeach preserves
1/4 cuppeach nectar
1 tablespoonlemon juice
3/4 teaspoonground allspice

Preparation Instructions:

Place meat on a rack in a shallow roasting pan. Insert the meat thermometer. Roast in a 325 degree oven for 2 to 3 hours or till the meat thermometer registers 130 degrees.

Meanwhile, in a bowl combine the peach preserves, peach nectar, lemon juice and allspice. Spoon half of the peach mixture over roast. Continue roasting about 45 minutes more or till the meat thermometer registers 170 degrees. In a saucepan heat remaining peach mixture; pass with meat. Makes 10 servings.
